Svitlana Dudenko

Svitlana Dudenko is an Honored Artist of Ukraine, a Ph.D. in Materials Science, and an associate professor specializing in materials science and cultural heritage expertise. She has completed a training course in the workshop of renowned artist Boris Kosarev and has taught materials science for monumental artists at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.
Svitlana Dudenko’s artistic practice encompasses various forms of art, including installations in urban environments, painting, graphics, and graphic design. She is a Ukrainian artist, designer, author, and curator of art projects, having been involved in over 50 projects related to urban design. Additionally, she is the author of art reference books, scientific monographs, and artistic creations.
As an artist, Svitlana Dudenko has produced paintings and graphics, as well as trademarks, corporate identities, the coat of arms of Kharkiv city, commemorative and currency symbols, and thematic printed publications. Her works are characterized by originality and a creative approach.
Furthermore, Svitlana Dudenko has served as the director of the “Smalta” art gallery from 1993 to the present. She has organized and conducted over 40 exhibitions and showcases, curated exhibitions on Ukrainian porcelain, and authored reference publications on the subject. She has participated in 29 Ukrainian and international exhibitions, with her works being held in the Kharkiv Art Museum and private collections.
