In Shevchenko monument. Kharkiv, the central figure — a Cossack with transparent wings — breaks chains, symbolizing Ukraine’s liberation from bondage and the heavenly protection of its people. The monument is reinterpreted as one of the most expressive national symbols, revealing Ukraine’s history and spiritual heritage. The union of graphic drawing and KOS symbolism introduces a new level of meaning to the monument, merging realism and metaphysical abstraction. The work speaks of freedom, continuity, and the resilience of national tradition.
Executed in the KOS style, it holds collector’s value and symbolizes the direction.
