Art-historical and philosophical description

A delicate pink flower opens at the boundary between a luminous space and a deep, dark plane.

The softness of its organic form contrasts with the composition’s strict geometry. Within this

tension, the artist finds an image of the unity of opposites: light and shadow define one another,

and life emerges at their threshold.

Tanka · English poetic adaptation

Light and darkness meet

They cradle a quiet bloom

The flower awakens

Upon the edge of two shores

Light breathes softly through the night

Record: Confirmed by the artist
